With such varied films as Pride & Prejudice (which earned her an Oscar nom) and Pirates of the Caribbean (which earned huge boxoffice), Keira Knightley nonetheless is extremely passionate about her current project, The Imitation Game. “This is a story that speaks to everyone,” she says of the Morten Tyldum-directed film about mathematician Alan Turing and the World War II code breakers of Bletchley Park. “When you understand what Turing and others did and who they were, this truly crosses national boundaries.” Knightley just received Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe supporting actress noms, putting her in major Oscar contention for her portrayal of real-life cryptanalyst Joan Clarke, a friend and confidant of Turing’s. The role marks a deliberate new direction for the actress.

Sammy Davis Jr.'s ex-mistress says Bill Cosby raped her

Add another accuser to the line of women stepping forward to claim Bill Cosby raped them decades ago.

This time, the woman is Katherine McKee, a sometime actress and former Las Vegas showgirl best known as the late Sammy Davis Jr.'s former mistress, who traveled with him as his "road wife." McKee, now 65, told the New York Daily News that Cosby grabbed her and raped her in a Detroit hotel room in the early 1970s when she was in town with Davis and Cosby was in town, too.

At the time, she and Cosby were friends, through her relationship with Davis and his Rat Pack pals. She even appeared on The Bill Cosby Show in 1971, before the alleged attack, "He was a buddy. He knew I was Sammy's girl," she said, explaining why she accepted an invitation from Cosby to attend a party on a boat in Detroit.
